Extensive commercial experience of advising business owners, including operating The Business Improvement Program nationally and across the UK, ensure general manager Alec Blacklaw is well placed to lead the Greg Hocking Holdsworth team to new heights.

Consistently energetic and passionate, Alec thrives on helping people be the best version of themselves through building moments of connection and increasing levels of trust, with a focus on creating lots of 1% improvements.

Holding a Bachelor of Economics, a CPA of 30 years and a lifelong learner Alec has learned from some of the most successful people globally in Business, Sales Leadership, the Arts and Sports.

Leveraging his experience in Business as an owner, board member advisor, investor and coach, Alec has drawn on his Tax, Accounting, Business Advisory, and Business Development skills as he successfully leads winning teams.

Alec understands our market and our community having grown up as a teenager, attending school in Port Melbourne and Albert Park, before buying and living in Middle Park for many years. In addition, he has operated a successful Accounting and Financial Advisory practice as well as owning a well-known pub, both located in South Melbourne.

As Alec explains, I enjoy helping people achieve their goals, and I have found that it is important to ask the right questions about people’s objectives and what this will allow them to enjoy. This provides context about how we may be able to help, providing options that will maximize the achievement of the target outcomes and reduce as much risk as possible.

Working with the entire team at Greg Hocking Holdsworth in both Sales and property Management, so that we remain focused on achieving great outcomes and a great client experience for our clients and our community.
